Kessler Academy
This past week I participated in the Kessler Academy, a chamber orchestra playing 20th century classical music. This was a great experience for me due to the very high level of all the participants and the coaching by the Microcosmos Quartet. It was also very exciting because the repertoire, which included works by Stravinsky and Bartok, was all new to me. I had an extraordinary time working on the pieces and taking in all the new information. I also feel as though the classical side of my playing has improved a great deal just in that short week.
