Arrived in Toronto
I’ve just arrived in Toronto for 5 weeks playing with the National Youth Combo. This will be a very exciting time for me, working with such talented musicians and mentors. I’m also looking forward to the upcoming clinics and performances with the George Garzone group from Berklee (which means getting to see my friend Jenny!) and the Sapporo Jazz festival winning group.
Just before leaving I had one of my favourite gigs ever at the Libra Room with Noah Franche-Nolan, David Hodgson, and Ethan Honeywell. Wow! The sound was great, the crowd was great, and we were killin’ it. It doesn’t get any better than that!
